Sorry for the delay in posting, but we've been without internet/cable since yesterday when a big storm came through. We had up to 90mph winds and as a result a large limb snapped off our tree and landed on the cable line, snapping it in half.
Luckily someone was able to come out today to fix it, and now we're back in business!
Today I have an update for you on Baby Cohen's nursery progress. Mer's hubby and his dad have been busy getting the paint up on the walls. As you may remember for the last design board I showed you here, we're going with gray and white horizontal striped walls.
All taped off and ready to roll...
Ta-da! I love them! Don't you? The color is called Tempered Gray by Valspar.
In other news, look what I picked up at Hobby Lobby today.
Here's how the conversation with Jon went down (he was on his way home from OKC).
Jon: Hey Honey, I'm on my way home. How's your day going?
Me: It's going well. I have a new dog in the backyard.
Me: I found her in the Hobby Lobby parking lot. I had to save her!
Hahaha. Taking in stray dogs have become a bit of a habit for me since moving here. Luckily, Jon has come to accept it :) And he thinks this one in particular is a cutie. We think she might have gotten out during the storms last night, but we're not sure. And unfortunately, she has no collar or microchip to identify her.
I've called all of the shelters and vets in town to let them know about her in case someone calls looking for a dog matching her description. Unfortunately, we'll only be here for one more week so I'm hoping we find her home soon. If not, Remington, just might have a new friend :) We're still trying to decide on what to call her in the meantime. Let us know if you have any suggestions!
