"{The nursery} looks awesome and everyone that sees it is floored by how nice it looks! Aimee’s friend started crying the first time she saw it, so just wanted to let you know how amazing your work is!"
What a compliment! It really was a pleasure working with such a sweet couple and making their dream nursery a reality. Now let's take a look at the final reveal...
The Pottery Barn glider (shown with the French Stripe Oatmeal slipcover) was the last piece to the puzzle and now that it's in, the room is finally complete!
Hudson's mom wanted an overall light and airy feel to the room, and I think that was achieved. The soft gray walls and light flooring keep the space bright and open while the small pops of green and contrasting woods help bring some balance to the space.
The bedding is still probably one of my favorite parts of the space. If there is one piece of advice I can give you for decorating your own nursery, bedroom, etc. it's to mix and match bedding pieces! The end result will always look more custom and aesthetically pleasing than a matching set. For more information and details on this bedding, go here.
This bookcase from Restoration Hardware Baby & Child was a great solution for achieving both function and charm in the corner of the room. And it works as a great backdrop for all Hudson's adorable toys and books.
Thanks for stopping by! I'd love to hear what you think of the space!
